Hilary Lowe represented Lizzie’s Legacy as a Baton Bearer on 29 June as the Baton of Hope UK tour reached Manchester.

Baton of Hope is designed to be the biggest suicide awareness and prevention initiative the UK has ever seen. The message is simple: where there is HOPE, there is a real opportunity to save lives.
Afterwards, Hilary shared, “The day was poignant as so many came together to share in their grief and their hope as we passed the baton from one to another. Together we can reduce the stigma of suicide, get better at asking questions, listening and directing people to the right help, aspiring to a zero-suicide society. Here is the amen beyond the prayer.”

Supported by friends from St James and Emmanuel, Hilary was honouring her daughter Lizzie, who would have been 23 years old in June. Please give financially to Lizzie’s Legacy so that work in her memory can continue.
